Mr. Saba was admitted to the State of California Bar in 1997. Mr. Saba has also been admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the United States District Court for the Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California.
Mr. Saba has considerable experience both prosecuting and defending a wide range of federal and state civil litigation matters, including catastrophic injury claims, civil rights, employment litigation, mortgage banking, complex business and entertainment disputes, professional malpractice and municipal, landowner and product liability.
In 1999, Mr. Saba began working at the Law Offices of James R. Rosen, P.C., and in 2006, became a general partner in Rosen Saba, LLP. Mr. Saba has successfully tried numerous plaintiff and defense cases, including several involving significant personal injuries.
Mr. Saba is rated as an "AV" lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, the national attorney ranking service. An "AV" rating is the highest rating awarded and indicates an attorney has reached the height of professional skill and excellence. Mr. Saba is also recognized in the national Martindale-Hubbell publication of Preeminent Lawyers in America.
In August 2002, Mr. Saba authored an article entitled, "In the Wake of Saelzler: Surviving Summary Judgment in a Premises Liability Action for Third Party Criminal Acts," which was published in the Advocate Magazine. For five consecutive years (2004 to 2008), Mr. Saba has been named as a "Southern California Rising Star" and has been featured in Los Angeles magazine and Super Lawyers magazine as one of the premier lawyers in Southern California under the age of 40.
Mr. Saba has been quoted in newspapers and magazines nationwide, including the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, San Bernardino Press Enterprise, San Bernardino Sun, San Diego Union Tribune and San Francisco Chronicle. In addition, Mr. Saba has been the lead attorney on cases which have been featured on 60 Minutes, CBS, ABC and NBC news, as well as numerous radio talk shows.
Mr. Saba is an instructor for U.C.L.A. Extension Legal Assistant Program. In December 2008, Mr. Saba will teach "Jurisdiction and Venue" classes.
Mr. Saba is an active member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorney's Association of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Mr. Saba currently sits as a member of the Board of Directors for the United States Youth Volleyball League.
